About The Project
Exposing students to in-demand careers and diverse career role models can bring them new possibilities, inspiration, and motivation. Amazon employees work across a broad range of technical and nontechnical roles - Class Chats can help students envision future careers that they may not have even heard of!
Achievements
Developed and optimized the React-based AFE Class Chat portal, transitioning it from offline to a scalable online platform.
Built session scheduling, real-time chat, and user authentication features for seamless volunteer-student interactions.
Enhanced UI/UX for ease of use, ensuring even first-time users could navigate classes without friction.
Collaborated closely with stakeholders to align user needs with feature delivery, improving engagement and participation rates.
Contributed to a successful pilot and global scaling plan, with positive feedback from volunteers and program managers.
